Wedding Information at Brooklyn Bridge Park

When it comes to a wedding destination, your thoughts may go to a ceremony on a romantic beach, a sacred cathedral or the Lido Deck of a cruise ship. But surprisingly, many people throughout the globe come to New York each year to get married. And some of them choose Brooklyn Bridge Park as their wedding destination, in the vicinity of the Manhattan and Brooklyn bridges.

Covering 85 acres of land, Brooklyn Bridge Park is really a treasured urban oasis. Providing wonderful views of downtown Manhattan and the New York harbor, Pier 1, Pier 6, Main Street Lot, Tobacco Warehouse, Empire-Fulton Ferry and the Cover section of the park attract numerous visitors each year.

These beautiful park sections also make the park a wonderful wedding destination. They are the setting for various programs and events, as well as picnics, ball play and much more. Now, have a look at each part of the park.

Pier 1 - Open to the public on March 22, 2010, Pier 1 adds 6 new acres of park, comprising 1,300 feet of promenade along the East River and 2.5 acres of lawn with extensive views of the New York harbor, the Manhattan skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge.
