National Academy Museum and School of Fine Arts is the countrywide academy dedicated for fine arts. The museum is simply referred to as National Academy, located in 1083, Fifth Avenue, New York City NY-10128. The museum operates between 12 PM to 5 PM from Wednesday to Thursday, from 1 PM to 9 PM on Friday, from 11 AM to 6 PM on Saturday & Sunday and remains closed on Monday & Tuesday and public holidays. In addition the museum provides free tours for public led by knowledgeable guides at 2 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. The admission tickets are reasonably priced at 10 dollars for adults and 5 dollars for senior citizens & students. The children's aged under 12 years are admitted freely into Museum.

National Academy Musuem was founded by Samuel FB Morse, Martin E Thompson, Asher B Durand and Thomas Cole during 1825, on the sole purpose of promoting the fine arts through education & exhibition in USA. Today the academy exhibits more than five thousand collections of American artifact and art works belonging to 19th & 20th century.
