Madison Square Garden is a multipurpose indoor arena in New York City. The Madison Square Garden self-proclaimed "The World's most famous arena", is the venue for events like the National Hockey League, the NBA, WWE events, celebrity concerts and theaters. The Garden as it is colloquially called has been the venue of many boxing matches that created stars like Muhammad Ali, Holyfield and Ray Leonard.

The interior of the Madison Square Garden is similar to the Coliseum. The seats are arranged in six ascending levels. The seating arrangement at the Garden gets changed according to the genre of events and shows being held. The six levels of seating are floor seating, lodge seating, 100 level promenades, 200 level promenades, 300 and 400 level promenades. The floor level seating is available in case of basketball, concerts, WWE matches and boxing matches.
These kinds of seating are not available in case of horse shows or dog shows. The seats are colored according to their arrangements. The seats ascend gradually and therefore are located at lower vertical distances from the center of attraction.

The Garden is located almost 15 miles away from the JFK International airport and Newark Liberty International airports. The Madison Square Garden's official website provides an interactive map where the driving directions to the arena are showed. The arena is situated on the W 32nd Street. It is sandwiched between the 7th Avenue and the 8th Avenue on one hand and the W 31st Street and the W 33rd Street on the other hand.

Meter parking is available on the 31st and 34th streets. Disabled individuals who possess special parking permits are allowed to park on the 31st, 32nd, 33rd streets and also on the 7th and the 8th avenues. There are other parking lots and garages available in the area, having their own parking policies. Vehicles whose owners fail to produce NYC Department of Transportation parking permits will get their vehicles ticketed.
