Made from brick and not marble as is a common misconception, the St Patrick's Cathedral is covered from outside by marble which gives it the surreal look. - The church can accommodate around 2200 people at one time.
- The church is surrounded by the East 51st Street, the Madison Avenue, the East 50th Street and the Fifth Avenue on the north, east, south and west respectively.

- The beautiful rose window was made by Charles Connick and the other windows were decorated by popular artists from England, America, and France.
