
Guggenheim Museum in New York City: A Great Destination for Art Enthusiasts
The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum or more commonly known as the Guggenheim is a very well-known museum in New York City. It is located at Upper East Side New York City. It was opened to the public on October 21, 1959. Since then it has underwent several renovation.

It has special exhibitions which are currently on view. One of which is the Haunted: Contemporary Photography/Video/Performance which started last March 26 until September 6, 2010. Another featured exhibition is the Broken Forms: European Modernism from the Guggenheim Collection which started from July 9, 2010 until January 5, 2011. The museum's current featured collection on view is the Thannhauser Collection.

The museum is very easy to find for it has the most unique building architecture in the whole city of New York. It is open from 9am until 6pm during Sunday to Wednesday. While on Friday to Saturday the museum closes at 8pm. The museum is closed the whole day every Thursday.
Admission fee for adults is $12 and only $7 for students and senior citizen.
