As the flagship wildlife center of the Wildlife Conservation Society, Bronx Zoo comprises 265 acres of wildlife habitats and attractions in New York City. What is the general admission to the Bronx Zoo? The general admission to the zoo is $12 for children (aged 3 to 12), $16 for adults (aged 13 to 64) and $14 for seniors (aged 65 and up). Children of 2 years old and under are always free.

There is also an additional charge for some special rides and attractions inside the zoo. For instance, if you want to warm up with an exciting 4-D adventure, you will be charged an extra fee of $5. Although the ticket price is not high, owning a zoo membership card enables you to enjoy free admission to the zoo and more for a full year. Bronx Zoo membership comes in three levels: Individual Membership, Family Membership and Conservation Membership.

1) Individual Membership

Individual Membership is available in two levels including Individual Premium and Individual. To be an individual member, you will be charged $83. As an individual premium membership, you can enjoy free admission for two adults not only to the Bronx Zoo, but also to New York Aquarium, Central Park, Prospect Park and Queens Zoos. In addition, you are also entitled to enjoying free unlimited access to Bronx Zoo attractions like 4-D Theater, Congo Gorilla Forest and Zoo Shuttle, 4 free parking passes for the Bronx Zoo and New York Aquarium, plus many other benefits. 2) Family Membership

Family Membership is also available in two levels: Family Premium and Family. 3) Conservation Membership

Conservation Membership comes in four levels: Supporter, Fellow, Partner and Patron. To become a conservation supporter member, you will be charged $275. Supporter members are entitled to getting free admission for two adults and children in their household up to age 18 as well as one additional guest or child caregiver to the Bronx Zoo, New York Aquarium, Central Park, Prospect Park and Queens Zoos. In addition to free admission for two adults and children, fellow members and partner members also can get free admission for three additional guests or child caregiver (for a total of 5 adults), plus other great benefits. Please note that members at the individual premium, family premium and conservation supporter, fellow and partner levers can join online and print out a temporary membership card applied for admission to parks and zoos, plus one free parking pass immediately. Membership cards for conservation patrons will be sent in one week.

Membership materials for members at individual and family levels will be sent by mail in two or three weeks.
